Lewis Fulton Director STEPS (Sustainable Transportation Energy Pathways)

I was down at the LCVP conference last week. They had a fantastic range of speakers discussing low carbon transport for the future. One of their speakers was Lew Fulton who works with the International Energy Agency in Paris and his specialism is transport energy. We chatted about the future for energy consumption and its implications in the developing world.

On another note, I’ve been playing around with the idea of a new broadcast site called Primetime EV. I’ve stuck an ident we’ve been working on at the beginning to start trying some stuff out.

  1. Thanks for a great interview, Danny- nothing new, but good info from someone whose job is to forcast our transportation energy future. It’s amazing how many just do not understand this aspect of Oil usage, that even with more fuel efficient engines, demand is still going to shoot thru the roof because of automotive growth/desire, espcially in China and India, where you have the potential of around a BILLION new car owners.

I like the RKO-like opening, very much- keep it! You might think on the name though- Primetime EV is not bad, but it just does not grab you. RKO-EV would probably get you into some copyright issues. Something like EV Studios or EV Studio News can play off of the RKO and/or MovieTone News motif. But then again- ‘A rose by any other name…’ Whatever name you choose will come to mean what you make of it;-) After all, I never would have chosen Schlotzsky’s as the name of a sandwich shop- but that name has held up well enough!

  2. I usually do not leave a comment, but I read some of the
remarks on this page Lewis Fulton, International Energy
Agency | Dannys Contentment. I do have 2 questions for you if it’s okay. Is it simply me or does it appear like some of the comments appear like they are coming from brain dead visitors? 😛 And, if you are posting on other sites, I’d like to keep up with you.
